For Spring 2014, BCBGMAXAZRIA’s Max & Lubov Azria went back to basics as the designers rethought classical shapes, including several menswear-as-womenswear pieces. The result is brilliantly crafted collection filled with surprising cuts and shapes, such as a tuxedo shirt crop-top and sexy jumpers. For Spring 2014, traditional silhouettes and tailoring techniques are deconstructed and reconstructed with the fresh, cool energy of the season.

Functional fabrications provide a timeless practicality. Cotton twills and dobbies juxtapose against flyaway georgettes, while abstract watercolor prints and textural embroideries add an artistic touch to a neutral palette of chambray and blush, accented with black and white. The juxtaposition of masculine and feminine embodies a new perspective on tailored chic.

Structured clutches and open-toe booties articulate an urban edge.
