MM6 Maison Martin Margiela’s Fall 2014 collection is as utilitarian as ever, with many elements reduced down to its barest function. The boots are boots, you can use to cover your feet and protect them from elements as you walk. Same with the shorts - you can wear the shorts, and they will cover your privates. Why would anyone need anything else? These work just fine.  Sure there are more playful items here, such as the bubble-wrap shirts, but the brilliance here is the brand's understanding of what exactly clothing is, so don't you forget it.
