Press release follows:
Timo, Alan, and Donna took inspiration for their Fall-Winter 2015 from the early work of photographer, Saul Leiter; specifically the artistās photographs of a 1940ās-1950ās New York City, cinematized by snow or rain, and translated them across a collection of the designerās core styles: coats, dresses, skirts, blouses, and sweaters. The Timo Weiland girl has taken her essentials, and elevated the aesthetic with sophisticated silhouettes that maintain the brands feminine, signature edge. She exudes modern femininity, and a nonchalant attitude that is uniquely American. The runway show took place at Pier 59 Studios, and was styled by Haley Loewenthal. Looks were accessorized with bold, knit hats and sunglasses designed by Cutler & Gross. All elements crafted together created a series of looks to illustrate the Timo Weiland girl, and the many places she will go in the fall and winter of 2015.
