With an inspiration that includes Wavy Gravy, Hells Angel's Old Ladies and Acid Test, it is no surprise that Veda's Spring 2013 collection oozed of free-spirited rebellion. Staying true to her aesthetic, designer Lyndsey D. Butler showed us once again the many ways that leather can be manipulated; offering the perfect skinny pant and shorts in the fabric and updating the signature biker jacket with dramatic lapels and suede details.
Butler showcased a runway to the rack collection consisting of easy, interchangeable separates in a mostly neutral color pallette infused with pastel psychedelic patterns in blue, pink and purple hues. Tough girl items were paired with uber feminie pieces of flowing sheeths and pleated skirts. Butler's focused and clear collection delivered a look of cool sophistication and is certain to have us hooked for seasons to come.
