Designed by Emma Fletcher, Tocca’s Spring 2013 collection is a variation on simple. From look to look, the garments could be dubbed simply elegant, simply wearable or simply sexy; but, while true, none of these classifications quite do the line justice. Inspired by vintage kaleidoscope patterns and chevron-printed hot air balloons, Fletcher presents a line of basic—but not at all boring—pieces. The silhouettes are sleek and accented by flats designed by Fletcher or low vintage heels. The dresses are intriguing, featuring diamond cut-outs or sheer chevron paneling. Multiple looks are topped with gathered collars. A yellow dress includes flattering angled seaming. And, all seem to ask: “Wear me now?” Yes, please.
