The Spring 2013 collection presentation from Rochambeau definitely set apart from the rest. The collection was designed on a dark flipside of what you think for a spring collection. Getting inspiration from a dark folklore surrounding water throughout history Rochambeau stated “water has always symbolized passage to the afterlife.” Kevin, who created the hair styles for the models said they did “a clean, polished look with a James Dean feel. With no parts, the hair was straight back with height on top.”

The colors in the collection were chosen to represent the differences in the symbolism of bodies of water in both historical and modern times. Black, grey, silver and cream had pops of corals and pinks. There was a lot of layering in each masculine look and the collection showed pieces that were very easy to mix and match.
