The Gretchen Jones Fall 2012 collection perfectly blended Western and Native American motifs and effortless 70's silhouettes with a hip, downtown feel. The collection was presented in a dimly lit, smokey room with a medicine wheel created out of rocks and sand in the center which the models stood inside of. The ikat patterns, cut off motorcycle boots, and wide-brimmed hats seemed like they could have been stolen right out of the wardrobe of a girl setting out for the Wild West. However, the incredible fit and tailoring of the pieces mixed with the very modern styling of the looks kept this collection from feeling too costumey or dated. Gretchen Jones’ Fall collection hits just the right note of both rustic and contemporary cool.
