Doo-Ri Chung is known for her draping skills, and there is a reason for it: she's damn good. In that aspect, she didn't rock the boat -- there were countless well considered, elegant dresses with perfect draping and simple pleats, but she also decided to mix it up with a sprinkling of blue, orange, and bright yellow looks and even some fringed and beaded detailing.
Chung is at the top of her game, and the Art Noveau inspiration was clear in the fringed detailing on some of the dresses. It's good that Chung is so clear with her design vision, and it will certainly do well when it goes to market. Though if she had gone further with experimenting with small details like that beaded jacket or peraps added even more pleated acidic dresses, it would have been a perfect show and a step in an interesting new direction.
