Held at the REP Pop Up Shop in Soho, Abigail Stewart's Spring 2013 collection was exotic and bright. Inspired by Susanna Clarke's 2004 novel Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell the collection is what the designer considers a magician's garden. The bright geens and asymmetrical designs are meant to resemble a real garden, with shoes and heels that look like vines coming up the models' legs. The collection was very magical and mysterious, almost like you were wandering through a scene in Alice in Wonderland. Hair pulled on top of the models head in a bun with hair sticking out is seemed effortless, which is why we walked away from Abigail Stewart wishing it was time for bright colors and not snowy whites.
