New York Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2012 was kicked off at 9AM sharp with a light and airy presentation by Sachin + Babi. 

Known for their wearable ready to wear line, Sachin + Babi was easy and breezy. Peachy tones of billowing maxi chiffons were offset with perforated leather pieces. A demure setting, with the models set against a white background showing clips of black and white videos, the lights were down and the music was fit for a club scene, yet played at a safe volume. Metallic maxi dresses and skirts were standouts. A voluptuous leather skirt another. Few prints were featured, while the designers seemed to opt for color blocking instead. Feminine pieces to mix and match, Sachin + Babi is current, beautiful, and wearable.
