Julius's designer Tatsuro Horikawa couldn't bring a more goth collection. Inspired by imagery from trips to Prague that includes church spires, Jewish cemeteries, cobblestone streets, and decaying statues, Harikawa decided the contemporary goth scene devolved from its original meanings. Yet, by not going all vampirey and sticking with a more industrial approach, he hits a modernism that out-Rick-Owens a style clearly influenced by him. His Fall 2010 collection for Julius wins the goth-industrial wars for this season.
