Donna Karan's DKNY label went with a very young 60's schoolgirl look for this collection. Miniskirts everywhere and prints with trendy color-blocking would be the executive summary. Trendy velvet makes an appearance here. Highlights belong to the party dresses formed with a collage of materials, and much of the outerwear, including oversized blazers and a brown sequin-lined jacket. Accessories highlights would be the studded spats on some of the platform ankle boots.
Overall, a very marketable collection targeting a fun, young audience.
