A winter's escape usually leads to warmer locations, but with tremendous global and personal difficulty continuing into this season, you may want to escape to an altogether different era entirely. A stopping point could be the mid 20th century, where the world repaired itself after a great war and its associated recession. As we search for our own halcyon days, we may find inspiration among the moments nearly lost to time, where others have already found peace and tranquility after their own struggles.
